Hurricane 13

With the end of the blog contest, I will leave you with my experience with hurricane 13. :P We knew it would be difficult and would probably die in the process...but just couldn't resist.

We were actually able to kill everything except the hurricane and human in the end...but couldn't kill the hurricane fast enough. So when it healed...everything fell apart. lol.

Suffice it to say, we had to do some survival to regain the lost exp. :D

Hope you enjoy reading my blog, and I'll try to continue to post screenshots from the game. Please see the useful links in the right menu bar for very helpful posts in the forum.

Guild War

During our 2nd match in guild war on Saturday, Genesis transcended into new dimensions of time and scored 99 points. :D I'm pretty sure this has to be a new world record in mythwar. lol ^^

Interested in Guild War?

Participating in guild war is simple if you join a guild that always registers. Registration is open on Fridays, so the guild leader just needs to go to guild headquarters and speak with the Diplomat.

Guild war takes place on Saturdays and Sundays:
  • First round: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm server time
  • Second round: 9:30 pm - 11:00 pm server time

You can enter the battlegrounds waiting area starting from the times listed above (it includes 30 minutes of preparation time before you can actually enter the battle area). Just speak to the ghost-looking NPC named "Battlegrounds" near the teleporter in Woodlinger.

Once in the the waiting area, at 7:30pm or 10:00pm, depending which round, you can enter the battle area by talking to the snake-looking NPC in the waiting area. Each guild is color coded (either red or blue) and has their own statue to protect.

To score points:

  • Be in a party of at least 3 people and click on the other guild's statue to obtain a stone (you won't see it in inventory)
  • Wait for 1 minute
  • Click on the other guild's statue again to check that the 1 minute has passed
  • Return to your own statue and click on it.

To defend:

  • Attack the other guild's parties
  • Can also click on your guild's statue to engage the other guild's team that is trying to steal your guild's stone.
  • Once a party loses a fight, they must wait outside of the battlegrounds for 5 minutes before they can re-enter.

Guild war is a great way to interact with other guilds, and hopefully everyone remembers to keep it friendly and fun. :D

P.S. There are NO rules about what you can or cannot use in a fight. (I'm tired of hearing teams get upset when someone uses stun or if the other team is using christmas pets...)

Carnival of May - Pet Purchase

Here is a screenshot of me right before I sacrifice 3 Lizard Miners for money. :D GMs will be purchasing these useless...I mean...unique...pets for a high price for this event. I'm just hoping I will be online when they are buying these pets. *hope*

...Just as I thought, I missed the GMs purchasing the Lizard Miners. :'( I wake up and see this system message in my history log. I was probably 10 minutes or so late -.-' Oh well, guess I'll have to live with these guys a little longer...

Carnival of May - Free Presents

From May 1-4 there is a mythwar event composed of four parts:
  • Free Presents (May 1st-3rd)
  • Bounty Hunter and Survival Quest (May 1st)
  • Pet Purchase (May 2nd and 3rd)
  • Fourfold Experience Event (May 4th)

For the 'Free Presents' event, the system message tells players the location the GM will appear and vendor great items for only 1 gold.

I was actually lucky enough to buy 1 chocolate one time. :P When you see the crazy mob of people trying to buy items below, you'll understand the competition to get an item. The GM is barely visible in the mass of people clamoring for a chance to buy something. You can barely see the GM's hammer and blue hair. :D
